Dance Machine is a live interactive installation created by Miriam Wolodarski in collaboration with Rajendra Serber, featuring Megan Lowe and Rosemary Hannon. This surrealist oracle performance is followed by a contact improvisation jam with musical offerings, beverages, snacks, and surprises. "Dancing with you, is like taking an advanced course in physics," Brenton Cheng said to Megan Lowe after an extensive and exciting dance at a contact jam, years ago. In Megan Lowe Dances' Finger Trap, Megan and Brenton dive deep into physical puzzles, while treading on the surface of shared ancestry. This duet will be shared in an evening with Scott Wells & Dancers, featuring Mira Barakat, Sabrina Danielle Baranda, Liz Duran Boubion, Megan Lowe, Mel Mark, Kristen Rulifson, Carmen Serber, Ronja Ver, Shira Yaziv, and Mindy Zarem.

“In the Skin of Her Hands” will share stories and perspectives of breast cancer survivors, their families and communities, gained from a community engagement project involving interviews and workshops. So many women have been affected by breast cancer, including Lenora’s sister and mother, creating an extremely urgent need for greater awareness, information, and connection in the face of this health crisis. On average, every 2 minutes a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer. Over 3.3 million breast cancer survivors are alive in the United States today. Featuring dancers Jory Horn, Lynn Huang, Hien Huynh, SanSan Kwan, Lenora Lee, Megan Lowe, and John Nguyen.

Action Potential is a site-specific dynamic dance and live music adventure by Megan Lowe Dances, created for Emeryville's Athletic Playground. Audiences will be led on an innovative journey through the rooms of Athletic Playground, while dancers artfully activate ladders, planks, bars, mats, blocks, aerial apparatus, walls, and each other. Megan, Sonsherée Giles, and Shira Yaziv, join together for six energetic, athletic, and virtuosic performances, demonstrating prowess in site-specific dance, contact improvisation, and dynamic partnering. Girl Swallows Nightingale will paint a vivid musical canvas that shifts its colors between modern rock, jazz, theater, funk, and pop, to underwater soundscapes and dreams of outer space. Witness one of six invigorating shows and watch a space come to life and transform.

Never Finished: Explorations at the Finnish is a truly inventive, site-specific exploration that is sensuous, full of texture and trickiness rooted in weight and elasticity, expanding perspective on the infinite ways a person can interact with the space around them. Crawl through and explore with the dancer, indulge in gravity defying/gravity defining feats, witness tender moments of connection, and watch a space come to life.
